This privacy policy sets out how Fiona van Wezel uses any information that you give when you use this website.
We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.
Fiona van Wezel may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from July 2022.
The information we gather is required to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:
- Internal record keeping.
- Contacting you to inform you of availability of Commission bookings as well as to discuss any bookings made by you using the email address which you have provided.
We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties.
Refunds Policy
Each commission will need to be approved by yourself on completion. A final image will be sent to you via E-mail or Messenger before posting. If there are any problems or the Artwork requires any changes, they must be stated BEFORE the item is posted out as once the piece is received by yourselves, Artwork can not be returned. The Artwork will not be sent out until acceptance by the Commissionee has been given.
Payments and Postage
A non-refundable deposit of 25% payment is required on booking of the commission, when you will be given a date for the commencement of your artwork as well as an estimated time-frame for completion. The final 75% is to be paid after clarification of final image. Outstanding balances are to be paid upon completion of the piece, before the item is mailed out. If due to unforseen circumstances Fiona is unable to commence or complete your commission, your deposit will be refunded in full.
Original artworks are posted flat and securely protected. They are posted unframed, and un-mounted with a back-mat behind the art. They are presented in acid-free, cellophane for you to frame and mount as you wish. All materials used by Fiona van Wezel are archival Artist grade materials however even these can fade if not framed and protected correctly. For this reason we suggest mounting with acid-free mounts and framing with UV protective glass. Originals should not be hung in areas of direct or bright sunlight.
Each piece is subject to Postage and packaging charges (unless otherwise stated) which covers any loss or damages in transit. Each package will be sent with a tracking number for you to keep updated with the delivery progress.
Please make sure you check your package and item for damage before signing for the Goods as this may invalidate a claim should the item be found damaged after signing as undamaged goods received.
All items should be received within a week of posting (UK) however, should there be any delays, please contact the delivery company giving the tracking number supplied in an E-mail from Fiona herself pre post.
